A trip that brings back old memories... can be the worst trip you'll ever get.
Seriously, Sunway Lagoon, although it is being rated the no. 1 Theme park in Asia in 2007. It is not has indeed not yet reach the level of the world. TO me... It may be rated as... No. 100 theme park in the world?
Anyway, the rides there are still old school. It hasn't change much since I last went there... (I believe that was in my primary school) Not literally, but there have been new parks installed in it.
For one point... It is still GOD DAMNED EXPENSIVE!!! Furthermore, it is NOT worth it. Let me say this, for the old Theme Park...
The 2 Old Water and Dry park have combined, and they are still using the old rides. I mean, COME ON!!! When will the new rides come? Look at Genting... They keep increasing the number of REAL ACTION rides, (copied from other countries of course).
The Lagoon has definately did not get a chance to change their rides... And neither they plan to... The one's I sit in the 1900's is still exist till now. Now new rides.. No new fun... Game over guys.
But there is a bright side. AJ Hackett... The king of Extreme Sports in the other countries... has invaded Sunway Lagoon. FYI, AJ Hackett is the founder of the Bungy Jump industry and their ropes for the Bungy Jump is reknowned throughout the world.
Although there is NO Bungy Jump in Sunway, there is something really COOL and NEW!!! The G-FORCE is like a reverse Bungy whereby you are sitted in a ball cage and shoot straight up while spinning like a wild Ball...
However, the money is another issue... RM 50 for a Ride!!! This is extra money beside the entrnce fee. So, I can only sit and watch some Mat Salleh experiance the Thrill... T____T
Besides that, Sunway has more Parks tha ever, although they looked... Well... NOT MY TASTE!!!
The Scream Park was a Big Let down. I thought this new Cool park has amazingly new rides... However, it is just 3D movies, whereby you where 3D goggles and watch scary Movies popping out to scare you... Oh.. And a Prison Break Live! Nevetheless... $$$.. The fee of this is the same as going into the Theme Park... Therefore, (singing) Goodbye my lover... Goodbye my friend...
The wildlife park is a Tipu money one, the X treme Park is a place where you can play Expensive games, such as Paintball, Mini 4wDrive, Rock Climbing in a price of one... However, the situation there seems to be lacking... You have to see it to believe it. No professional's are safety there. Just a few young men sitting there... (Sleeping more like) and the tourist are free to roam around...
Warning!!! This is just a precaution... Unless you have not yet been to Sunway Lagoon, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

How la...I was going to Sunway tomorrow le...after reading ur blog I have second thought ad...
But thing is I've never been there b4...and how much is the entrnce fee...? Really that expensive meh...?
If you havn't gone there before, it is OK to go there. The entrance is not that cheap. RM48 to go to the theme Park, RM 60 to go to Theme Park and Additional Park. RM 90 to go ALL Parks... But to get this price, show your IC. If you don't have, it will be MORE expensive.
