Trip 3: China Part 1: Beijing at the Begining

Hi hI Guys... Guess what? I'm back from my wonderful... And extremely cold holiday from Beijing China.

Haha... Now How about that? Impression in Beijing... Dusty... And EXTREELY COLD!!! I finally experianced -20 degree Celsius!!!

Day 1: Arrived at the Oriental City

After Traveling for 5 hours and 45 min. We finally arrive at Beijing. Wohoo... And also , it is pretty rare for me to join a tour... Cause normally, my mum want to travel on our own.

Anyway, we arrived pretty late... So Our tour Guide, Xiao Cui, take us to experiance a delicacy... Known as Jiao Zi... Or Chinese Dumpling. And I was pretty shock about the dumpling in China is way much different from Malaysia... Here we put pork and carrot inside...

Here, they put all sorts of material inside... Such as eggs and vege... Different type of vege... Pork and vege... Egg and onion... Supremely many... And they use vinegar for tasting.

Here's a pic where the workers making dumplings...

Next we witness some stunt show... Even perform by little kids as small as 5 y. o.!!!

Day 2: Travel back to Ancient China

After a heavy Buffet Breakfast, I head off to the first destination... The Forbidden City. And boy... IT IS RIDICULOUSLY BIG!!! Xiao Cui explain the history of it by introducing the many rooms for the king...

First... Let's see the gate to the Forbidden City...
Gate 1: Now it is known as the Tien An Men Square... Before this... This gate is actually seperate the peasants from the Noble... No Peasant can pass his gates.
Now behind it is Gate 2: This gate seperates normal Noble family from the Kings. Only the governer who must attend the morning assembly can pass this gate. And also if there is a big festival...

Now here is this large area behind me is the only place where any festival / big anouncements that involve with the Emperor is held. You always see this in some Chinese movies right. Hehe... Well I been there alright.

Besides the gate, we are not allowed to enter the royal throne and bedroom, cause they are been protected from tourist from accidentally vandalizing them. We only can see it in a distance. This part sucks...

More to come... Keep on watch!!!

Trip 2: Cameron Highland

Yo guys... My second trip for this holiday season... And my destinaton? Cemron Highlands!!! Located right in the Titiwangsa mountain area, easy to find... Just of the main highway. Just follow the roadsign.

Day 1: The arrival
When we arrive, nothing much were done, except buying and eating vege in our hotel... Equitorial by the way.

Day 2: Flower sensation.
Due to my love of nature, (or at least I think I am), I am able to convince my mum to stop at Rose Valley: A garden (which you have to pay RM 4 to go in) where you can see tons of roses, flowers and cactus. It is simply amazing whe you see this rose. I love it!!! Check it out!!!

Beautiful huh? What you see is dofferent type of rose... Including a Black rose. Very pretty!!!

Then we off to a bee farm... Where we can see some exhibition and a bee box... about 20 cm from me... Which contain live bees!!!
Cool huh? Then we buy MORE vege at Kea farm. What made me suprise is... The corn bought at cameron is simply DELICIOUS!!!! So sweet until you can eat it RAW!!! Seriously I ate 3 corns raw. And I still miss the taste...

Day 3: Give some Umph for tea...

English tea to be exact... Travel through some of the narrowest and windiest sreets in Cameron, we reach to a Boh tea factory. Before that, I'm exicted with the view of the tea plantation and the workers...

Really marvelous... However, the other even more marvelous thing is the factory. Yup... The old tea factory is still running in good pace. And the place for tourist has been renovate onto a top-notch condition.

Nevertheless, I have my fun there in Cameron. Most of the time is enjoying the cool breeze there. Beside theplaces I mentioned, I think there is no more place to visit though. Anyway, it's good to feel the chill for a while and eat lots of veges until you keep on poo-ing.

So I give this place a 6 out of 10 stars!!!

Batman movies: Part 1 Legacy

"I'm gonna solve the most remarkable riddle.
Who is... Batman?"

Quoted from The Ridler (Jim Carrey) in Batman Forever.

As one of the DIE HARD FANS of the Mask Crusader, Batman was indeed one of my favorite movies since I was a kid. Till now, I'm still in love with Batman movies. So today I started to wiki-fied the film acrooss the years... From 1989 till 2008. The Batman I love...

1. Batman (1989): The start of the Legacy

The 1st Batman starred by an old actor, Micheal Keaton, was a big bang towards the nation.

As the first villain in the film, Joker (which is a mirror of me =P), starred by one of my favorite actor at that time, Jack Nicholson. It is pretty good but I was told by Wiki it is one of the best at that time.

2. Batman Return (1992): The Rise of the Legacy

Batman Returns return once again in the big screen when I was 2 y.o.

Again, Micheal Keaton take the role, along with his romantic lover / villain Catwomen, Michelle Pfeiffer in a love hate relationship.

But 1 is not enough, as Danny deVito, once a big star by that time take the role of Penguin. The Umbrella psycho short dude, was well portrayed by him. I have to admit it, sometimes, old school rocks too.

Moreover, the film will not be a success without this guy. Max Schreck is a corrupted buisnessman that accidentally create Catwoman. This guy is starred by Christopher Walken. Don't know him? This may refresh your memory.
Yup... The gay duo in Hairspray feat. John Travolta as the "she" =P And speaking of Hairspray...Check out Michelle Pfeiffer and Christopher Walken together again in Hairspray... Ha... Can you believe that the old Catwoman and his boss reunited in this pretty recent film?

Anyway, Batman Returns hits the Jackpot in that year... But not as popular as this one...

3. Batman Forever ( 1995): The Golden Age
Oh Yeah. This is one of Batman's golden age, as Micheal Keaton retired... Val Kilmer replaced his place as Batman. That's not all... The damsel in distress is played by a HOT superstar... Nicole Kidman. With a brand new Sidekick... Robin, by Chris o' Donnell...

Down to the villain... Since Batman is sooo God Damn Popular at that time... More and More Famous actor want to be in the show. Such as Tommy Lee Jones... Ha, the old Harvey Two Face still remains as one of my favorite outfit.

Not far away, one of my Favorite comedian of all times... Jim Carrey as one of the (supposingly) twisted villain, The Ridler. Can you believe it, MANY of my favorite happens to be in one of my favorite show!!!

Anyhow, this is the making of a new type of Batman Franchise... THe comedy franchise, and this film is suppose to be the peak in 1995. Actually... Comedy, does not fit the comic... Batman, and ended a big downfall later...

For the continuation of the Batman Film History, wait for me to Blog on Batman Movies: Part 2: The Downfall... Coming soon...

First World Politics...

It seems strange someone like mua talk about politics. But seriously, I have an opinion that cross through my mind for a sec.

As we all know, Malaysia is heading towards a new First World country era. 2020? Well, we can say we are 1st world by then, but REALITY CHECK PEOPLE!!!

We move to an example from a real first world country. Now, the whole new president of the United States... Barrack Obama.

In his quest to become president, he fought strong rivals, such as Hilarry Clinton and John Mc. Cain. Well, this is one thing I'm gonna highlight.

After he won, we can see the losing one, (Mc. Cain and Clinton) congratulate him. Without any grudge... At least in front of the public.

In Malaysia,... Ho no..... After the opposing party beat the goverment in the Election, what do they do? They will be EXTRA carefull on anything the winning party does. And through a HUGE MICROPHONE and expose it to the public... Hoping that next time, they will vote for them. Hmm... Food for thought huh?

Another example is when Obama chosing his Senate. As everyone knows, he chosen Hilary as the Secretary. May I refresh your mind that Hilary was beaten by Obama as the representative of the Democrats... And yet, Obama acknowledge her abilities, and choose her in an important post.

Anothe action that made me impress is, he even choose a Republican member as a Senate. Think about it... You choose an opposing party member to hold a position to lead your country. We can see he believes in that particular Republicans potential and let him have the post. We can see, he is doing for the sake of his country, and not for the sake of his party...

Let's see the situation in Malaysia... Hmm... When an opponent is found threaten to the Party's president position, what do they do? Ah... Good answer.... They kick them out from the party. (Remember MIC? There are many more cases, but I'm too lazy to put in.) They don't even bother acknowledge them and give them a strong post in the place...

And how about the opposing party? Haha... They don't even think about that. Have you know any opposing party holding even a small role in the cabnet... I think not.

Well, 2020? We can declare orself as 1st world country by then, but reality? Think again...
