Transformer 2: Success or Fallen

It's movie time... The transformer 2 has become one of the biggest movie of all time. Spectacular visual effects... Combine with heart pounding action... There is simply no reason why many movie goers decide to rewatch this hit in the big screen.

In fact, this show has blown the 200 million barricade thanks to worldwide invasion of Fanatics to the cinema. Transformer has been my childhood show and I love it. The release of the first film makes me go... AW... But the next movie, to me, is 10 times way much better than the first. However, the conspiracy of this movie start off with the greatest battle of all...

Movie critics vs. Movie Goers

Why I say that? Apparently, many movie critics rate the movie an all time low! I was like WTH? According to rottentomatoes.com, Transformer 2 received only 22% out of 100% of watchable rating.

I was like WHAT!!! But then again I bump into this article.

WARNING!!! THis Link contain Spoilers to the movie... If you have not watch it, it's better for you to watch the movie first, then look at this...

http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/smg-transformers-10-questions.html

Don't read it if you have watch it...

After reading this, I just found out there are too many loopholes in the plot of the story. Thus, made the critics extremely angry...

May I add in... The movie contain sex jokes that might be a bad example for the little ones.

However, I still inssist to all to watch it because despite the cruel review, it is still definately worth watching... Actually, it still worth spending RM12 to the cinema.

Antique Bakery: Sooo.... Delicious!

Having some free time, i kinda stumble across this Korean movie call Antique Bakery. It is an adaptation of one Japanese manga. After I watch this... I felt soo... DELICIOUS!!!

The story is about a very very RICH man who hated cakes since he was a kid. The irony is he want to open a cake house... With the reason of having many female customer coming. Did I also mention he has a very rough love life? Besides that, he also has a dark past that was lock within his heart for a long time...

Anyway, to open a bakery he needs a pattessiere (Mind the speling...) It's just so nice he met an old classmate of his, who once confess love to him. Now the MOST intresting part is... That classmate is a GUY!!! A GAY MAN!!!

The four handsome guy (Clockwise from the top left): The rich dude, The gay guy, The cool security guard, and the boxer.

That triggers a very.. VERY funny storyline... On how this two "exes" work together to build up this Antique Bakery. Did I mention that gay is one of the best in the world? However he got kicked out by many famous bakeries because that gay has a power to make a straight guy to a GAY guy... Talk about... EWW!!! Hence he causes some mishaps with the boss and everything.

Then they hired an ex-boxer who is fond of cakes and sweet pastery. After tasting the delicious cake, he wanted to be the gay dude's apprentice. The last member of the bakery, who was the rich man's cool bodyguard, join them too... Until his coolness goes away when the gay virus has infiltrated him... O_o

4 handsome men, one bakery shop... A wonderful combination of delicious cakes and pasteries... A damn lot of gayness... Not to forget about the misadventure and life triggering story... And also a lot of hilarious scene... A wonderful movie.

5 stars!!!

Warning! For the boys who love their straightness... Please don't watch... You might become a gay after this.

Batman movies: Part 1 Legacy

"I'm gonna solve the most remarkable riddle.
Who is... Batman?"

Quoted from The Ridler (Jim Carrey) in Batman Forever.

As one of the DIE HARD FANS of the Mask Crusader, Batman was indeed one of my favorite movies since I was a kid. Till now, I'm still in love with Batman movies. So today I started to wiki-fied the film acrooss the years... From 1989 till 2008. The Batman I love...

1. Batman (1989): The start of the Legacy

The 1st Batman starred by an old actor, Micheal Keaton, was a big bang towards the nation.

As the first villain in the film, Joker (which is a mirror of me =P), starred by one of my favorite actor at that time, Jack Nicholson. It is pretty good but I was told by Wiki it is one of the best at that time.

2. Batman Return (1992): The Rise of the Legacy

Batman Returns return once again in the big screen when I was 2 y.o.

Again, Micheal Keaton take the role, along with his romantic lover / villain Catwomen, Michelle Pfeiffer in a love hate relationship.

But 1 is not enough, as Danny deVito, once a big star by that time take the role of Penguin. The Umbrella psycho short dude, was well portrayed by him. I have to admit it, sometimes, old school rocks too.

Moreover, the film will not be a success without this guy. Max Schreck is a corrupted buisnessman that accidentally create Catwoman. This guy is starred by Christopher Walken. Don't know him? This may refresh your memory.
Yup... The gay duo in Hairspray feat. John Travolta as the "she" =P And speaking of Hairspray...Check out Michelle Pfeiffer and Christopher Walken together again in Hairspray... Ha... Can you believe that the old Catwoman and his boss reunited in this pretty recent film?

Anyway, Batman Returns hits the Jackpot in that year... But not as popular as this one...

3. Batman Forever ( 1995): The Golden Age
Oh Yeah. This is one of Batman's golden age, as Micheal Keaton retired... Val Kilmer replaced his place as Batman. That's not all... The damsel in distress is played by a HOT superstar... Nicole Kidman. With a brand new Sidekick... Robin, by Chris o' Donnell...

Down to the villain... Since Batman is sooo God Damn Popular at that time... More and More Famous actor want to be in the show. Such as Tommy Lee Jones... Ha, the old Harvey Two Face still remains as one of my favorite outfit.

Not far away, one of my Favorite comedian of all times... Jim Carrey as one of the (supposingly) twisted villain, The Ridler. Can you believe it, MANY of my favorite happens to be in one of my favorite show!!!

Anyhow, this is the making of a new type of Batman Franchise... THe comedy franchise, and this film is suppose to be the peak in 1995. Actually... Comedy, does not fit the comic... Batman, and ended a big downfall later...

For the continuation of the Batman Film History, wait for me to Blog on Batman Movies: Part 2: The Downfall... Coming soon...
